  In November 2008, Rigzone.com began preparations for a major site redesign that took advantage of modern design practices such as tableless design through CSS, an upgraded visual image, and the introduction of more interactive elements using jQuery.

  After 6 months of design work, coding, and testing, Rigzone.com was released, providing a needed overhaul that was attractive and efficient.

  Bishop Interactive is an umbrella media company that manages all advertising for Rigzone. As a new advertising system was implemented, there was a need for a reporting system that gave advertisers the ability to login to their account and view real-time statistics for their campaigns.

  The project was designed and coded using classic ASP, tableless design through CSS, and jQuery. Interactive charts were created using Adobe Flex.

  A vast majority of Rigzone's mobile traffic comes from iPhone users, with an increasing number of pageviews each month. The iPhone-specific mobile site was created to provide a rich interface for mobile viewers who are looking for commodity prices, jobs, and the latest news.

  The project was designed and coded using classic ASP, advanced CSS, and jQuery and the jQTouch library.

  Robert Gutierrez Inc. Site Redesign

  RobertGutierrezInc.com is a portfolio-type website that is used to illustrate the various types of artwork the company is capable of creating. This site redesign uses Flickr as the delivery tool to store all images so that the owner can easily update the galleries at his leisure without having to edit any pages in the site.

• Project: Continental.com Banner Ad Series

  This banner ad series was used for an advertising campaign that allowed Continental Airlines to easily switch out new ads in their "Did You Know?" campaign series.

  The ad consisted of a parent "shell" movie that loaded child movies as they were supplied. Each child movie could therefore be created outside of the parent.

  Continental.com redesigned its website in 2005 to refine its brand and position as a high-class airline. The Flash-based homepage feature was designed and coded to allow easy updates via XML and external child movies. Features could be set to launch and expire at specific times and dates, and headlines could be classified as an emergency for emphasis.

  After the passing of my grandfather in 2008, I recorded and produced this cd as a gift for friends and family. While perhaps a little "dark" for a Christmas gift, the cd is a tribute to my grandfather and my grandmother, and was recorded and shared in their memory. I played the piano on the cd and designed the packaging for the cd.
